About us

We are a Chartered Accountancy practice acting for all sizes of businesses and for individuals preparing Annual Accounts, Taxation Returns, Rental Statements, Cashflows, Budgets and Business Plans. Established over 35 years ago, our roots go back more than 50 years with many of our clients having been with Bruce for over fifty years.

We advise on the best structures (Partnerships, Trusts, Companies, Special Partnerships, LTC etc) for your undertaking in regards to the type of business or venture you are entering, the taxation implications and how to minimize the cost of taxation within the law.

We use the latest computer technology and are providers and supporters of some of the common bookkeeping systems such as Xero, Quick Books, MYOB, and others. We are also happy to use manual systems if that is your preference. Xero is our preferred computer package for completion of GST. We use in-house APS Access which is used by most of the larger Accounting Practices in New Zealand and Australia.

We, ourselves, have owned and/or rented a number of investment properties, as we believe that this is a great form of investment. We run a share club for a number of our existing clients. We have a large amount of expertise and experience with rental properties and have given seminars on the subject. Most of us have been involved in running our own business outside of the Accounting Practice.
